We’re a community organization, and we’d love to have more people join us. There are lots of ways to be a part of our work, whether that’s becoming a member, joining our staff team, or helping shape what the society does.
Guided by “Nothing About Us Without Us,” we prioritize the leadership, consultation, and employment of people with lived and living experience of homelessness and/or drug use.
Membership
Members set the direction of the society. You get a vote at the Annual General Meeting, you can stand for the board, and you get a say in what we take on next. Membership is open to anyone who supports our purposes.
- Annual fee: $5 a year for allies and accomplices. Free for people with lived or living experience of substance use.

Jobs
We're hiring, and we're looking for people with lived and living experience — of homelessness, drug use, mental health struggles, or of supporting family members and loved ones through those things. We strongly encourage Indigenous and 2SLGBTQ+ folks to apply. We want a team that reflects the community we serve.

Frontline support for guests at The Eddy. Full-time, part-time and casual shifts available.
